Gifts And Calling
 

                                The Gifts And Calling of God are without repentance.
                                To say else, is to imply God makes mistakes.
                                Once the judge of all creation has passed sentence;
                                His decree of judgment, nothing ever shakes.

                                For His Gifts And Calling God has made provision,
                                Wherein the justifier might be just.
                                There was nothing left to chance or indecision,
                                But a foundation laid, to justify our trust.

                                All things that God has made are for His pleasure.
                                And according to the counsel of His will.
                                How could one think He would destroy His treasure,
                                And all His Gifts And Calling not fulfil?

                                Trust Him who turns not from His Gifts And Calling.
                                Who saves by His imputed righteousness.
                                He who saves and keeps those saved from falling,
                                That they reign with Him and share His blessedness.
