Hear The Voice

Oh Hear The Voice of nature,
For her speech is plain and sure.
These things you feel and see and know,
                                               Shall not for long endure.

Oh Hear The Voice of reason,
As by logic she makes known,
That none can stay the hand of Him
                                               Who sits on heaven's throne.

Oh Hear The Voice of Adam,
As he confessed to God the sin
That caused his death, that spiritual death,
                                               That passed upon all men.

Oh Hear The Voice of the rich  man,
As he speaks from hell's torment.
With a little water to cool his tongue,
                                               He wanted Lazarus sent.

Oh Hear The Voice of conscience,
                                               As she weeps for guilt within;
When God's Spirit works about your heart,
                                               Reproving you of sin.

Then Hear The Voice of Jesus
When He says "Come unto me,"
For He said, "...and ye shall know the truth,
And the truth shall make you free."
