Making Choices

Will you be found as one choosing wisely,
When in just scales your choices are weighed?
Or held in other hands will the prize be,
Because of all the foolish choosing you made?

Will your striving be found to be lawful,
When with masteries you strive for the crown?
Will loss suffered by fire then be awful,
And in the Living God's hands be turned down?

When building on the one laid foundation,
Are you with heedfulness, taking great care?
Or paying more heed to men's acclamation,
Than to His Word who'll be judging you there?

God provided one place for choice making,
And another for judging those made.
Do you follow Him and all else forsaking?
Or like the man of one talent, you're afraid?
