Not By The Law
 

                                  If you are trying to keep the law for your salvation,
                                  Know that in Adam you have already died.
                                  And that the law only insures your condemnation.
                                   To give life, God's Beloved Son was crucified.

                                  The Word was made flesh, that by means of death,
                                  He might destroy him that held the power thereof.
                                  That the avenger's sword might remain in it's sheath.
                                  We being without blame before Him in love.

                                  It's by the righteousness of God, not their own,
                                  That the ungodly find justification.
                                  It is in His Son Jesus, and in Him alone,
                                  That God has made reconciliation.

                                  So don't make the mistake of believing
                                  That God was less than well pleased with His Son.
                                  For it's only yourself you'll be deceiving,
                                  And you'll find out too late what you've done.
