My testimony:
I heard the Word of God preached. God convicted me of the fact that I was a sinner destined for hell. He drew me to Himself with His Holy Spirit. When I called out to God for mercy, He saved my soul.

My beliefs:
 
The Bible is the infallible Word of God and is understood by the Spirit.
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" 2Timothy 3:16

" Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."
  1Corinthians 2:13-14

"For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;" 1Corinthians 12:8

Salvation is a gift from God and a person must experience a Spiritual birth given by God to enter heaven:
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9

"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." John 3:3
 

Salvation is an eternal gift:
"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one." John 10:27-30

The "rapture" of living Saints and resurrection of the dead in Christ:
"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first;
then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." 1Thessalonians 4:16-17

"Martha said unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life; he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live; And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die, Believest thou this?" John 11:24-26

"Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." 1Corinthians 15: 51-52
 

Why I smile: "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28
